Openings

We are actively recruiting talented and motivated individuals to join our interdisciplinary research group, which focuses on cutting-edge problems at the intersection of polymer chemistry, nanomedicine, immunology, and cancer biology. Our team is housed in a dynamic research environment with strong collaborations across academia, hospitals, and industry, and we are committed to fostering innovation that drives translational biomedical breakthroughs. We welcome applications for the following positions:

1. Associate Professors

We seek outstanding scientists with a strong publication record and independent research capabilities in fields including (but not limited to) polymer chemistry, organic chemistry, immunology, and cancer biology. Successful candidates are expected to establish their own research direction while contributing to collaborative projects in mRNA drug delivery, immunotherapy, and nanomaterials.

2. Postdoctoral Fellows

Postdoctoral candidates should be highly self-motivated with expertise in polymer or organic chemistry, immunology, cancer biology, or related disciplines. Prior experience in nanomedicine, mRNA delivery, or immune modulation is highly desirable. Fellows will lead independent projects while working within a supportive, high-impact team.

3. Ph.D. Students

We are looking for enthusiastic and driven graduate students who will enroll through the University of Science and Technology of China Ph.D. program. Applicants with interests in drug delivery, mRNA therapeutics, or immune-oncology are especially encouraged. Strong work ethic and curiosity are more important than prior experience.

4. Undergraduate Students

We welcome undergraduate students interested in conducting research for their graduation thesis or national undergraduate research programs. Students will have the opportunity to work closely with Ph.D. mentors and gain exposure to real-world scientific research at the chemistry/biology/medicine interface.

If you are passionate about science and excited to explore the frontiers of biomedicine, please contact us (yucaiwang@ustc.edu.cn) with your CV and a brief statement of interest. We look forward to working with future colleagues who share our commitment to scientific rigor, creativity, and societal impact.
